Reference Citation Format

Reference Citation Format for Science and Technology Foresight

The format of references at the end of the article should follow the national standard Information and Documentation: Rules for Bibliographic References and Citations to Information Resources (see annex) issued on December 1, 2015.

References should be cited using a sequential numbering system and must be introduced sequentially in the text where they are referenced.

For a single reference that is cited multiple times, only one number is assigned, and the number should be marked at the corresponding locations in the text.

Reference numbers should not be marked in section headings or figure/table titles.

In the references, the comma should be used to separate multiple authors, and only the first three authors are listed, followed by “et al”. For both Chinese and English author names, the surname comes first before the given name.

The authors, title, publication source, year, volume and issue numbers, and page range of the references should be complete and accurate.

Informal publications cannot be used as references, but they can be mentioned in the text.

Review or commentary articles should not cite more than 50 references.
